Declaring Land to be Subject to the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953
Pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on and from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 31 May 1962. Submissions, which must be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, should be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory costs in terms of materials, labour, overhead etc.
