Notice Calling Final Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of the Phoenix Gold Mining Co. Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 281 of the
Companies Act 1955 that a general meeting of the above-
named company will be held at the registered office of the
company, No. 5 Brougham Street, Westport, on Friday, the
18th day of May 1962, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for
the purpose of having an account laid before it showing
how the winding up has been conducted and the property
of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any
explanation thereof by the Liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and if thought fit to pass the following
resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely—
“That the books, accounts, and documents of the com-
pany and of the liquidator be kept for six months and
then destroyed.”

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting
is entitled to appoint a proxy (or, when that is allowed, one
or more proxies) to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy
need not also be a member.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the
Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-
named company will be held at the offices of Barnett and
Barnett, Guardian Assurance Building, Brandon Street,
Wellington, on the 14th day of May 1962, at 2.30 p.m. in
the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid
before it showing how the winding up has been conducted
and the property of the company has been disposed of, and
to receive any explanation therefore by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following
resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:
“The liquidator be authorised to destroy the books and
records of the company in his possession on or after the
30th day of June 1962.”

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is
entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of
him. A proxy need not also be a member.

Forms of general and special proxies are enclosed herewith.
Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged with the
undersigned at Barnett and Barnett not later than 2.30 o’clock
on the 14th day of May 1962.
