RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £11,500 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the present stage of the sewer reticulation of the Borough, the said Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point five five of a penny (·55d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year, during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage and Waterworks Improvement Loan 1954, £71,000, Issue of £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Huntly Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for completing the sewerage system for the whole of the Borough and improving and extending the waterworks, the said Huntly Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two seven five pence (·275d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Huntly; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Resolution Adopting Classification List and Defining the Lower Clutha Special Rating Area

PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Otago Catchment Board held on 31 October 1960, the following resolution was passed:

“That the classification of the proposed Lower Clutha special rating area be and is hereby adopted and that public notice be given as required by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council Act 1941, as amended by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959.”

LOWER CLUTHA SPECIAL RATING AREA

ALL that area in the Otago Catchment District and bounded as follows:

Commencing at a point on high water mark of the South Pacific Ocean on the prolongation of the south-western side of Selsea Street in the Town of Molyneux and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction along the south-western side of Selsea Street aforesaid, to and across a road to the western side of Portland Street in the said town; thence in a north-easterly direction along the western side of Portland Street aforesaid, to and across a road and again along the western side of Portland Street aforesaid, to and across a road to the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Block I, South Molyneux Survey District; thence in a north-westerly direction along a road forming in part the south-western boundary of Section 5 aforesaid, to and across a road and again along the south-western boundary of Section 5 aforesaid, to the south-western corner thereof; thence in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 12 and 13 in the aforesaid Block and District to the south-eastern corner of Section 13 aforesaid; thence in a north-westerly direction along a road forming the south-western boundary of Section 13 aforesaid, to the south-western corner thereof;
