Cancellation of the Vesting in the Thames County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Thames and revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Area Exempted from Portions of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1958, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that for two years from the date hereof, on any day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., subject to compliance with the conditions set out in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 9 and 10 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958 shall not apply to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL the waters of Lake Karapiro within the following boundaries:
(a) A line drawn in a north-easterly direction commencing at the point where the northern boundary fence of the Brooklyn Water Ski Club's grounds meets the lake and extending 200 yards into the lake.
(b) A line drawn from the lake shore parallel to the line described in (a) at a distance of 60 chains upstream of it and extending into the lake a distance of 200 yards.
(c) A line joining the eastern extremities of the lines described in (a) and (b).
SECOND SCHEDULE
EACH of the boundaries outlined in paragraphs (a) and (b) in the First Schedule shall be marked as follows:
(a) Brightly painted marker buoys shall be moored at distances of 100 yards and 200 yards from the edge of the water.
(b) At the edge of the lake at normal lake level on the western end of boundary line (a) there shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft, painted white with black letters, and containing the following notice:
"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1958
No speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for 60 chains south of this notice."
(c) At the edge of the lake and normal lake level on the western end of boundary line (b) there shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted white with black letters, and containing the following notice:
"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1958
No speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for 60 chains north of this notice."
(d) On special rowing regatta days any of the aforesaid marker buoys within the surveyed rowing course must be removed.

Time and Place of Elections by Fire Insurance Companies to Fill Extraordinary Vacancies on the Fire Boards for the New Plymouth and Waitara Urban Fire Districts
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 12 noon Tuesday, 17 April 1962, as the time, and the offices of the Wellington Fire and Accident Underwriters' Association, 97 The Terrace, Wellington, as the place, for the holding of a meeting of representatives of the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand to elect one member to each of the Fire Boards for the New Plymouth and Waitara Urban Fire Districts.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice of the following results of the elections held on 29 March 1962, by the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand, to fill extraordinary vacancies on the Fire Board for the Wanganui Urban Fire District and one extraordinary vacancy on the Fire Committee for the Marton Urban Fire District:
