Whangaruru Tribal Committee Area
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, at the eastern end of the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4F Block; then south-easterly along the sea coast and including adjacent islands to a point in line with Okupe Island; then south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station 1572, Hansen’s Hill, a right line to Trig. Station 28, Opuawhanga, and a right line to the south-western corner of Section 19, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District; then north-westerly along a right line passing through Trig. Station 1495 to the northern boundary of Section 11, Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District; then easterly along that boundary to the western boundary of Section 3, Block IV, aforesaid; then northerly generally along the said western boundary of the last-mentioned section, the southern and western boundaries of Paremata-Mokau Block, the western and north-western boundaries of Punaruku No. 2 Block, the western boundary of Waikokopu Block, the western boundaries of Sections 5 and 6, Block XII, Russell Survey District, and the western boundary of the Tutaematai Block; then south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that Block; then north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4G Block, and the north-western boundary of the Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4F Block; then easterly along the northern boundary of that Block to a point on the sea coast, the point of commencement.
Whakapara Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 5, Block XIII, Hukerenui Survey District; then north-easterly generally along the boundary of the Whangarei Tribal District to a point on the northern boundary of Section 11, Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District, on a right line passing through Trig. Station 1495 to the south-western corner of Section 19, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District; then south-easterly along that right line to the south-western corner of Section 19 aforesaid; then southerly along a right line to Trig. Station B; then north-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station 1870, and a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 5, Block XIII, Hukerenui Survey District, being the point of commencement.
Whananaki Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in line with Okupe Island; then south-easterly generally along the sea coast, and including the Poor Knights Islands and other adjacent islands to Kaone in Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey District; then northerly along a right line to Trig. Station B; then northerly along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 19, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District; then north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of the Whangaruru Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to a point on the sea coast in line with Okupe Island, being the point of commencement.
Pipiwai-Kaikou Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station XXVI (Ngatitara) in Block XII, Punakitere Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along a right line to the intersection of the south-eastern boundary of Maromaku Block with a right line between the south-eastern corner of Motatau No. 16A in Block VII, Motatau Survey District, and Trig. Station Z. 1 (Motatau) in Block XV, Motatau Survey District; then north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Maromaku Block to the southern boundary of Lot 63, D.P. 9582 (Block XII, Motatau Survey District); then easterly along the southern boundaries of Lot 63 aforesaid, and Lot 64, D.P. 9582, to and along the south-western and eastern boundaries of Section 4, Block XII, Motatau Survey District, along the southern boundary of Section 18, Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District, and its production across a public road to the western boundary of Section 24, Block IX, aforesaid; then along the western boundary of the said Section 24, to and along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of Section 23, the eastern boundary of the said Section 24, and along the southern boundary of Section 29, Block IX, aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of Section 5, Block XIII, Hukerenui Survey District; then south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 1870 in Block III, Purua Survey District; then southerly along a right line to Trig. Station M. 2 in Block X, Purua Survey District; then westerly along a right line to Trig. Station L. 1, Tautewhananga, in Block IX, Purua Survey District, a right line to the south-western corner of Section 8, Block XII, Mangakahia Survey District, and a right line to Trig. Station 40A, Tiratumutumu, in Block XI, Mangakahia Survey District; then north-westerly along a right line to the eastern end of the northern boundary of the middle portion of Nukutawhiti Block; then westerly along the said northern boundary to its intersection with the production of a right line between Trig. Station XXVI (Ngatitara) aforesaid, and Trig. Station XXVIA on the eastern boundary of Block XVI, Punakitere Survey District; then to and along the last mentioned right line to the point of commencement.
Ngararatunua Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 1870 in Block III, Purua Survey District; then proceeding south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station B, near the southern boundary of Block V, Purua Survey District, and a right line in the direction of Trig. Station O in Block V, Whangarei Survey District, to its intersection with the middle of the Whangarei-Kiripaka Road; then south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station M. 2 in Block X, Purua Survey District; then northerly along a right line to Trig. Station 1870, the point of commencement.
Whangarei Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station M. 2 in Block X, Purua Survey District; then proceeding north-easterly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Whangarei-Kiripaka Road at its intersection with a right line between Trig. Station B, near the southern boundary of Block V, Purua Survey District, and Trig. Station O, in Block V, Whangarei Survey District; then south-easterly along the last-mentioned right line to the said Trig. Station O, and a right line to Kirikiri Point in Block XV, Whangarei Survey District; then southerly and westerly generally along the middle of Parua Bay to and up the middle of Whangarei Harbour and the middle of the Mangapai River to its intersection with the middle of the bridge on the Main North Road; then north-westerly along the middle of that road to a point due east of Trig. Station O in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District; then due west to the said Trig. Station O; then south-westerly along a right line passing through Trig. Station B, Haurua, in Block III, Tangihua Survey District, to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Station M. 2, aforesaid, and a point in the middle of the Tauraroa River in line with the production southward of the eastern boundary of Lot 44 on the plan numbered 8548, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Walton’s Grant; then northerly along the last-mentioned right line to Trig. Station M. 2, the point of commencement.
Ngunguru Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Kaone, in Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey District; then southerly generally along the sea coast and including adjacent islands to Bream Head; then westerly generally along the sea coast to the middle of the entrance of the Whangarei Harbour; then up the middle of that harbour and Parua Bay to Kirikiri Point; then north-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station O in Block V, Whangarei Survey District, and a right line to Trig. Station B; then north-easterly along a right line to Kaone, the point of commencement.
Takahiwai Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of the Whangarei Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; then north-easterly and easterly generally along the south-eastern and southern boundaries of that tribal committee area and the south-western boundary of the Ngunguru Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to the middle of the entrance of the Whangarei Harbour; then to and along the sea coast to Bream Tail, and including the Hen and Chickens Islands; then westerly and northerly generally along the boundaries of the Whangarei Tribal District to the south-western corner of the Whangarei Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described, being the point of commencement.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Lincoln and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 8th day of April 1962.
