PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Carnea Sawmills Ltd., of New Plymouth, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 149, folio 180, Taranaki Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of April 1962.
