Declaration That a Reserve be the Taharoa Domain and Appointment of Domain Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Taharoa Domain and, further, appoints the Hobson County Council to be the Taharoa Domain Board to have control of the said domain.

Revocation of Appointment of Oturehua Domain Board and Appointment of New Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Oturehua Domain Board as published in Gazette, 3 August 1961, Volume II, page 1082, and appoints the Maniototo County Council to be the Oturehua Domain Board on and from 1 April 1962 to have control of the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain, and to control for secondary use for recreation purposes the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for irrigation purposes.
