THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

  1. It is hereby directed that the Matamau Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 1st day of October 1962.
  2. The Matamau Cemetery is hereby vested in the Dannevirke County Council as a closed cemetery for maintenance in good order as a public reserve.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District containing 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, being part Section 34, Village of Matamau, situated in Block X, Norsewood Survey District, as shown on plan marked 191/2/246 held in the office of the Department of Health at Wellington, and thereon edged red, which plan is a copy of Survey Office Plan 3395.

Mandeville Cemetery Closing Order 1962

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Mandeville Cemetery Closing Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1962.
  2. It is hereby directed that the Mandeville Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 1st day of October 1962.
  3. The Mandeville Cemetery is hereby vested in the Eyre County Council as a closed cemetery for maintenance in good order as a public reserve.

SCHEDULE

MANDEVILLE CEMETERY

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing 5 acres and 2 perches, more or less, being Section 1340, Block XIV, Rangiora Survey District, as shown on plan marked 191/2/395 held in the Department of Health at Wellington, and thereon edged red, which plan is a copy of Survey Plan marked 8/5/156.

The Pukerimu Cemetery Order 1962

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 5th day of March 1962

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Pukerimu Cemetery Order 1962.
  2. The powers of appointing and removing trustees for the Pukerimu Cemetery, formerly called the Pukekura Cemetery, and now comprising the area described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby delegated to the Waipa County Council.
  3. The Order in Council made on the 18th day of September 1933 and published in the Gazette on the 21st day of September 1933, at page 2429, is hereby amended by omitting from the Schedule the word "Pukekura" which appears in the second column in the portion of the Schedule relating to the Waipa County Council.

SCHEDULE

PUKERIMU CEMETERY

ALL that area in the South Auckland land district containing 5 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 12, Pukekura Parish, situated in Block XII, Hamilton Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 779, folio 75, limited as to title and parcels, as shown on the plan marked 8/5/147 held in the Head Office, Department of Health at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

  3. The Port Chalmers Cemetery is hereby vested in the Port Chalmers Borough Council as a closed cemetery for maintenance in good order as a public reserve.

PORT CHALMERS CEMETERY

ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing 1 acre 1 rood 39.4 perches, more or less, being Sections 415 and 416, Town of Port Chalmers, as shown on plan marked 191/1 held in the office of the Department of Health at Wellington, and thereon edged red, which plan is a copy of Survey Office Plan 13042.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 14 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. S. 7514, being part of Allotment 87, Pepepe Parish, situated in Block XIV, Rangiriri Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 765, folio 52, limited as to parcels (Auckland Land Registry).

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 23rd day of February 1962.
