PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for plantation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Awatere, in trust, for that purpose.

PURSUANT to section 13 (1) of the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, the Meat Export Prices Committee hereby gives notice of the following Schedule of Deficiency Payments to be made to owners in respect of the weekly periods and classes of meat specified in the said Schedule.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the undermentioned goods under item 352 (b) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
Flow Inducers (peristaltic type) for use in the control of industrial processes such as chemical mixing heads, and in the flow control of liquids, powders, slurries, and gases.
The application will not be dealt with until 29 March 1962, and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 29 March 1962.
Any such objection should be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of goods manufactured;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in the manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory costs in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Rubber tubing, not suitable for the conveyance of gases and liquids, coloured to imitate natural flower stems, and designed for use in the manufacture of artificial flowers.
The application will not be dealt with until 29 March 1962, and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 29 March 1962.
Any such objection should be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of goods manufactured;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in the manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
