In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Central Hawke’s Bay Catering Co. Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Central Hawke’s Bay Catering Co. Ltd. which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 2nd day of March 1962 as the day on or before which creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955 or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Soutter and Brockman Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an entry dated 19 February 1962 in the minute book of Soutter and Brockman Ltd., the shareholders of the Company passed the following extraordinary resolution:

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that, in pursuance of section 285 of the Companies Act 1955, Mr Karl Neil McGillivray, public accountant, of Christchurch, be nominated as liquidator of the company.”

And that, pursuant to section 362, subsection 8, of the Companies Act 1955, notice is given that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held in the Pioneer Amateur Sports’ Club Rooms, corner of Oxford Terrace and Gloucester Street, Christchurch, on the 27th day of February 1962, at 2.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 14th day of February 1962, presented to the said Court by Ian Ross Cullen, of Darfield, farmer, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 14th day of March 1962 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
