Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VIII, Ruakaka Survey District, for Better Utilisation, and Revoking Part of a Previous Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for better utilisation, and I also hereby revoke the Notice of Intention dated the 15th day of February 1961, and published in Gazette, 23 February 1961, No. 14, at page 334, in so far as it affects the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ruakaka and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for scenic purposes described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part IV of the said Act to form part of the Table Hill Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the South East Otago Scenic Board.
