Cancellation of the Vesting in the Kaikoura County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kaikoura, and revokes the reservation as a reserve for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Notification of Exemption From Renters Quota Under the Cinematograph Films Act 1928

———

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Cinematograph Films Act 1928, it is hereby notified that exemption has been granted to Modern Films Ltd., Auckland, in respect of the film renting seasons for the years 1957–58, 1958–59, 1959–60 from the provision of the aforesaid Act, which requires every licensed renter to acquire a stated proportion of Commonwealth films.

Scheme of Control of Rangitoto College

PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control for the school formerly known as Murray’s Bay High School and now known as Rangitoto College published in the Gazette on 1 September 1955, Volume III, page 1382; and approves of Rangitoto College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*
