Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961—Armoured P.V.C.-Insulated Cables

PURSUANT to the provisions of regulations 7 and 18 (2) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, permission is hereby granted for the use in electrical installations coming within the scope of the regulations of armoured P.V.C.-insulated cables manufactured in accordance with British Standard 3346:1961. The current ratings to be applied to such cables shall be those appropriate to the conditions of use as given in tables 28 to 39 of the “1961 Amendments to the Thirteenth Edition of the Regulations for the Electrical Equipment of Buildings” issued by the Institution of Electrical Engineers, London.
