Tariff Notice—Application for Amendment to a Determination by the Minister of Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for a variation of a determination by the Minister of Customs, under item 180 (6) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand, by excluding:

Nylon mesh cloth, of 60 denier, for use in the manufacture of apparel,
from the following determination:
Knitted piece goods (not being printed or embroidered) composed wholly or principally of silk or man-made fibres.

The application will not be dealt with until 21 December 1961, and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 21 December 1961.
Any such objection should be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of goods manufactured;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in the manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory costs in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
