The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 29

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 29, and shall be read together with and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

2. This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1961.

3. The principal notice, as amended by Amendment No. 23†, shall cease to apply in respect of the goods set out in the Schedule hereto.

4. The principal notice, as amended by Amendment No. 23†, is hereby consequentially amended by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the goods referred to in the Schedule hereto, in respect of which, pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer applies.

SCHEDULE

Meat—

All meat, fresh, chilled, or frozen (intended for human consumption) of the following kinds or descriptions: veal, beef, pork, lamb, hogget, and mutton; but excluding offals, bacon, ham, mincemeat, sausages and sausage meat, saveloys and saveloy sausage meat, and all deep frozen pre-packaged meat.

Surrender of Coal Prospecting Licence Held on Behalf of Her Majesty the Queen (Southland Land District)

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Coal Act 1948, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

COAL prospecting licence, dated 13 July 1956, in the name of the Minister of Mines on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for the purpose of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925, registered in the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Invercargill, affecting the land described in the Schedule hereto, is surrendered.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Paengaroa Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Paengaroa Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
