Appointment of the Manawatu Catchment Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the

Manawatu Catchment Board

to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for soil conservation and river control purposes.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

Lots 9, 11, and 12, D.P. 19129, being part Sections 391 and 392, Town of Palmerston North, and part Section 231, Town of Fitzherbert, situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District: Area, 17 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less.

Board Appointed to Have Control of Scenic Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the North Auckland Land District, ex officio:

Three members to be appointed by the North Shore Local Bodies Association as follows:

(a) One to represent the Waitemata County Council and the East Coast Bays Borough Council, ex officio;

(b) One to represent the Devonport and Takapuna Borough Councils, ex officio;

(c) One to represent the Northcote and Birkenhead Borough Councils, ex officio;

Robert Cecil Cooper;
Muriel Ethelwyn Fisher;
Wenman John Hilder;
Noel James Kitchen; and
James Prickett

to be the North Shore Scenic Board to have control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as scenic reserves.

Lot 2, D.P. 14492, being part Allotment 149, Takapuna Parish, situated in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District: Area, 14 acres and 19·5 perches, more or less.

Lots 28 and 29, Deeds Plan T39, being part Allotment 149, Parish of Takapuna, situated in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District: Area, 5 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less.

Part Allotment 57 and parts Allotment 56, part Lot 13, D.P. 18382, being part Allotments 56 and 57, parts Lots 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 98, and parts Lots 13, 17 to 21 (inclusive), D.P. 10208, being parts Allotment 58, Takapuna Parish, situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District: Area, 13 acres 3 roods 6·9 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/222A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Pursuant to section 33 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

John Edward Mannering

to be a member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board as representative of the electors of the combined district of the Boroughs of Kaiapoi and Rangiora and the Counties of Rangiora, Eyre, and Oxford in place of Mr C. W. Tyler, deceased.
