Land in the South Auckland Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
Lot 1, D.P. S. 6951, being part Section 11, Block XI, Piako Survey District: Area, 209 acres 3 roods, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 1737, folio 76.

As shown on plan No. 25/39 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Registration of School Colours and Badge

PURSUANT to the Education Act 1914 and regulations thereunder, notice is hereby given of the registration of the following school colours and badge for Tawa College, Tawa, Wellington:

Colours: Royal blue, scarlet, and gold.

Badge: Azure, two lions combatant or supporting between them a parchment scroll erect proper, on a chief or a fleur-de-lis between two towers all gules, within a bordure or. Below the shield a scroll or with the motto “Do Justly” inscribed azure.
