DECLARATION

IN conformity with the above Act, I, Ernest Bissett, General Manager of The Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New Zealand Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:
- That the liability of the members is limited. The capital of the company is £100,000, fully paid, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
The assets of the company in its corporate capacity on the 30th day of June last were £223,029.
The liabilities of the company in its corporate capacity on that day were £14,992.
The first annual licence was issued on the 10th day of March 1911.
- That, in the capacity of trustees and executors, the amount of moneys received on account of estates up to the 30th day of June last was £102,185,428.
The amount of moneys paid on account of estates up to that day was £101,705,662.
The amount of balances held in trust accounts at various banks on account of estates under administration on that day was £479,766.
- And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

In the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private Bills, and in the matter of a private Bill intituled “An Act to discharge an adoption order made on the 17th day of December 1953 in favour of Charles Frank Thomas, formerly of Havelock North, company manager, now deceased, and Aileen Maud Thomas, his wife, as adopting parents of Heather Colleen Thomas”.
NOTICE is hereby given that Aileen Maud Thomas, of Hamilton, widow, and Heather Colleen Thomas, of Hamilton, clerk, intend to apply for leave to bring into the House of Representatives at the present session a private Bill intituled as above.
The objects of the said Bill are to effect a legal discharge of an adoption order made by the Magistrate’s Court, Hastings, on the 17th day of December 1953, whereby the said Heather Colleen Thomas was adopted by the said Charles Frank Thomas, now deceased, and Aileen Maud Thomas.
The promoters of the Bill are the said Aileen Maud Thomas and Heather Colleen Thomas, whose address is care of Messrs Stace, Hammond, McMullin, Grace, and Bishop, 116 Victoria Street, Hamilton, to which address all communications and notices may be sent and at which address a copy of the Bill may be inspected.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

In the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private Bills and in the matter of a private Bill intituled “An Act to vary the trusts of the will of the late Charles Rooking Carter, and to facilitate establishment of a home for aged persons in Carterton.”
NOTICE is hereby given that Ronald Philip Wakelin, printer, Evan Beethoven Algar, Clerk in Holy Orders, Halsey Fenton Robinson, stock buyer, Stanley Lyle Tatton, garage proprietor, and William Wong, fruiterer, all of Carterton, intend to apply for leave to bring into the House of Representatives at the present session a private Bill intituled as above.
The objects of the said Bill are to amend and extend the terms of the trust established under the will of the late Charles Rooking Carter and amended by section 43 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act 1916, so as to enable the present Carter Home to be sold and the proceeds applied towards the building of a new Carter Home in the Borough of Carterton, and to enable the income from the present Carter Trust to be applied for the upkeep and maintenance of the new home.
The promoters of the Bill are the said Ronald Philip Wakelin, Evan Beethoven Algar, Halsey Fenton Robinson, Stanley Lyle Tatton, and William Wong, whose address is care of Messrs Major, Gooding, and Wollerman, Solicitors, Broadway, Carterton, to which address all communications and notices may be sent and at which address a copy of the Bill may be inspected.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
