At the Government House at Wellington this 27th day of September 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that portion of road known as Kakapo Road situated in Block II, Te Anau, and Block VIII, Mararoa Survey Districts, Wallace County, commencing at its junction with the northern end of the part of Kakapo Road declared county road by Gazette, 1959, page 1921, and proceeding thence through Run 301b in a northerly direction for 62 chains, and thence branching in an easterly direction for 55½ chains, and in a north-westerly direction for 55 chains; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3743 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Patangata County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of road containing 2 roods 29·8 perches situated in Block XV, Motuotaraia Survey District, Patangata County, Hawke's Bay R.D., and adjoining or passing through Eparaima B 2B and B 3 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3753 (S.O. 3166) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring the Baverstock Farm Settlement Road to be County Road

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, commencing at point on the northern boundary of Section I, Block V, Pomahaka Survey District, in line with the north-western boundary of Section 5, Block V, Pomahaka Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly for a distance of approximately 135 chains and adjoining the said Sections 1 and 5 and Sections 6, 7, 8, and 9, Block V, Pomahaka Survey District, and terminated by the western boundary of the said Section 9, Block V, Pomahaka Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3752 (S.O. 12058) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949 and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Volume II, page 1626, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 15th day of September 1954 and published in Gazette, 16 September 1954, Vol. III, page 1450, by deleting "Agronomist, Department of Agriculture, Timaru", and substituting "Farm Advisory Officer, Department of Agriculture, Timaru".
