Road Closed in Block VIII, Cloudy Bay Survey District,
Marlborough County, and Added to Land Held for River
Diversion Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion
of road described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed
and added to the land now held for river diversion purposes
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 17 acres 1 rood 37 perches
situated in Block VIII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marl-
borough R.D., adjoining or passing through part Section 5,
Block VIII, and part Section 44, Picton Suburban Registration
District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked M.O.W. 3687 (S.O. 4522) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

SECOND SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 60 acres 3 roods 17·2 perches
situated in Block VIII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marl-
borough R.D., being part Section 5; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3687 (S.O.
4522) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 14th day of September 1961.

of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed those
portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of road situated in the Ahaura Survey District,
Westland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
5 1 18 Sections 17, 38, and part Section 32; Section 134,
Square 122, being part Rural Section 3018; and
part Reserve 1596, Block I.
21 2 22 Part Sections 2 and 110, Block II, Rural Sections
3154, 3994, and 4040 and part Rural Sections
2904, 3018, and 3194, Reserve 693, part Reserves
1596, 1890, and 1894 and Crown land, Blocks I
and II.
2 0 0 Section 11, Block II, Section 2, Block VI, Reserve
1149 and part Reserves 1738, 1898, and 1899 and

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government
road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no
longer required.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of Government road situated in Block III,
Takahue Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 19·5 Section 1s, Upokonui Settlement.
0 2 7·8 Allotment W 51, Mangatete Parish, and Section 2s,
Upokonui Settlement.
0 0 34·7 Section 2s, Upokonui Settlement.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 3684 (S.O. 41275) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of a Deviation of Portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki
Centennial Main Highway

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation, dated the 9th day of
October 1945, published in Gazette, 11 October 1945, Volume
III, page 1264, and registered as No. 3605, Wellington Land
Registry, defining the middle-line of a deviation of portion
of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway, in
so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 32·24 perches situated in
Block V, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being
Lot 328, D.P. 9360, being part Section 51, Porirua District.
All certificate of title, Volume 463, folio 2, Wellington Land
Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 14th day of September 1961.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zea-
land, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

SECTION 57, Block III, Akatore Survey District: Area, 2 acres
2 roods 25 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 215/29
deposited in the Head office of the New Zealand Forest Ser-
vice at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan
13036.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
