COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electric power substation, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch as from the date hereunder mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of September 1961.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2·2 perches situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D., and being part Lot 18, D.P. 863, being part Rural Section 175; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3741 (S.O. 9842) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for drainage purposes and shall vest in the North Shore Drainage Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of September 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 27th day of November 1941, and published in Gazette, 4 December 1941, Volume III, page 3834, taking land for the Downlands Water-supply Scheme (reservoir site) in Block X, Pareora Survey District, and hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by James Arthur Nichol, of Sutherlands, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 213, folio 98, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of the Downlands Water-supply scheme (reservoir site); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of September 1961.
