Scheme of Control of Fairfield College
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control for the school formerly known as Fairfield High School and now known as Fairfield College published in the Gazette on 20 September 1956, Volume III, page 1298; and approves of Fairfield College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*

Scheme of Control of Onslow College
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Onslow College published in the Gazette on 10 January 1957, Volume I, page 20; and approves of Onslow College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*

PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Otorohanga College published in the Gazette on 11 December 1958, Volume III, page 1828; and approves of Otorohanga College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*

Additional Members of the Waimakariri Rabbit Board

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Waimakariri Rabbit Board on the 22nd day of June 1961.

THAT the number on the Board, apart from the Government member, be increased to six.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Kaipara Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 8 March 1950 and published in the Gazette, 16 March 1950, Volume I, page 297.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 192 (1) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
Viscose boucle yarn, 1–9 cotton count, undyed, for twisting with wool, for the manufacture of decorative yarns.
The application will not be dealt with until 28 September 1961, and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 28 September 1961.
Any such objection should be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of goods manufactured;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory costs in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 180 (7) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
Knitted cotton/nylon pile fabric.
The particular application received related to fabric to be used in the manufacture of industrial work gloves. However, if a decision to approve is made it would have general application unless otherwise stated.
The application will not be dealt with until 28 September 1961, and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 28 September 1961.
Any such objection should be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of goods manufactured;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
