Revocation of Appointment of Hundalee Reserves Board to Control Kaikoura Peninsula Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Hundalee Reserves Board as published in Gazette, 6 August 1959, Vol. II, page 1077, in so far as it relates to the Kaikoura Peninsula Scenic Reserve described in the Schedule hereunder.

Marlborough Land District—Kaikoura Peninsula Scenic Reserve Section 36, Block XI, Mount Fyffe Survey District: Area, 6 acres 3 roods, more or less. (S.O. Plan 4115.)

Members of the Hop Marketing Committee Appointed (Notice No. Ag. 7370)

Pursuant to paragraph (b) of regulation 2 of the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, the Minister of Agriculture hereby appoints Albert Douglas Askew, Joseph Thomas Hill, Jeffrey MacGlashen Inglis, Reynold Theodore Eggers, and John Edwin Oldham to be members of, and representatives of producers on, the Hop Marketing Committee established under the said regulations.

Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945 and Consequential Revocations

Pursuant to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby declares the parts of the South Canterbury Tribal District described in the Schedule below to be tribal committee areas for the purposes of the Act with the respective names therein set out, and hereby revokes the earlier notice dated 13 January 1949, and published in the Gazette of 20 January 1949, Volume I, page 59, declaring parts of the South Canterbury Tribal District to be tribal committee areas.

SCHEDULE

Arowhenua Tribal Committee Area All that area in the Canterbury Land District comprising the County of Geraldine and the Borough of Geraldine as described in Gazette of 1929 at page 532, the Borough of Temuka as described in Gazette of 1899 at page 1513, the County of Levels as described in Gazette of 1947 at page 1414, the County of Mackenzie as described in Gazette of 1911 at page 3509, the Borough of Timaru as described in Gazette of 1947 at page 1414, and the former Town District of Pleasant Point as described in Gazette of 1929 at page 386.

Morven-Glenavy Tribal Committee Area All that area in the Canterbury Land District comprising the County of Waimate and the Borough of Waimate as described in Gazette of 1948 at page 484.

Partial Revocation of a Notice Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas

Pursuant to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby varies the notice dated 19 August 1948, and published in the Gazette of 26 August 1948, Volume II, page 1064, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the headings and the descriptions of the Rangituhia and Otaihape-Utiku Tribal Committee areas.
