The age for retirement of Air Commodore Ronald Joseph Cohen, C.B.E., A.F.C., p.s.a. (a) (70005), is extended for the period 7 September 1961 to 31 December 1961.

Cancellation of Commission

The commission of Acting Pilot Officer Kenneth Arthur Roberts Butcher (78263) is cancelled, with effect from 1 August 1961.

Retirement

Flying Officer Maarten Willem Krepel Van De Stolpe (77751) is retired, with effect from 19 July 1961.

Appointing a Member of the Waikato Valley Authority

WHEREAS, by a Warrant dated the 21st day of April 1959, and published in Gazette, 23 April 1959, Volume I, page 523, Phillip William Blakeley, M.I.E.E., M.N.Z.I.E., then District Electrical Engineer, New Zealand Electricity Department, Hamilton, was appointed to be the member of the Waikato Valley Authority representing the New Zealand Electricity Department:

And whereas the said Phillip William Blakeley is no longer resident in Hamilton and it is considered expedient to appoint another member to the Waikato Valley Authority representing the New Zealand Electricity Department in lieu of the said Phillip William Blakeley:

Now, therefore, pursuant to the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, the Minister of Works hereby cancels the appointment of the said Phillip William Blakeley as member of the Waikato Valley Authority representing the New Zealand Electricity Department, and hereby appoints
