THE liquidator of Brown and Sons (G. W. Dobbs) Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 31st day of August 1961 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 28th day of July 1961, presented to the said Court by Lawrence James Alexander Cheyne, District Commissioner of Taxes at Auckland; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 25th day of August 1961 at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

AGRICULTURAL CULTIVATORS (N.Z.) LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 27th day of July 1961, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £10,000 to £1,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Compaines on the 3rd day of August 1961.
The said minute is in the words and figure following:
“The capital of Agricultural Cultivators (N.Z.) Ltd. is £1,000 divided into 1,000 fully paid ordinary shares of £1 each having been reduced from £10,000 divided into 10,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid.”

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £37,000 known as the Gladstone Road Overbridge Loan 1961 of £37,000 for the purpose of providing an overbridge across the railway line at Gladstone Road, Mount Albert, and meeting the costs of land purchases, provision of access to railway, and privately owned properties, claims for injurious affection, relocation of services, earthworks and road works in connection therewith, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought two six (.026d.) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Certified copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Gladston Road Overbridge Loan 1961 of £37,000 passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council on Tuesday, 11 July 1961.
Given under the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Albert this 31st day of July 1961.
