Election of Grower Representative on the Potato Board
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Potato Growing Industry Act
1950 and under the provisions of the Potato Board Election
Regulations 1951, notice is hereby given that the roll of
growers in the Northern Ward who are entitled to vote for a
grower member on the Potato Board will be open for public
inspection during ordinary office hours, for a period of seven
days from 16 August 1961, at the Head Office of the Board,
Wellington, and at the offices of the Hawke's Bay, Rangitikei,
and the Manawatu Potato Growers' Associations.
Nomination forms may be had on application to any of the
above offices or from the Returning Officer, Box 2742, Wel-
lington.
Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer
by not later than noon on the 6th day of September 1961.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of
Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of
the under-mentioned goods under item 136 (4) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
Rubber obstetric gloves for use by veterinarians.
The application will not be dealt with until 31 August 1961
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should
do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag,
Wellington, on or before 31 August 1961.
Any such objection should be supported by information as
to:
(a) The range of goods manufactured;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials
used in the manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory costs in terms of materials, labour,
overhead, etc.
