Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Ohakune
to the Purposes of a Street

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Ohakune Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

0 0 3·27 Part land in Plan A/3191, being part Section 9, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and being part railway land in Proclamation 1221, Wellington Registry.
Situated in the Borough of Ohakune. (S.O. 24930.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17249 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of August 1961.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Secondary School in the Town of Lumsden

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of August 1961.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 20 acres 1 rood 24 perches situated in the Hokonui Survey District, being Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block I, D.P. 127, Southland Land Registry, being part Section 241.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of July 1961.

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.
