The Standards Act 1941—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Specification for Mild Steel Dustbins (N.Z.S.S. 308:1960)

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D. 6720.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the New Zealand Standards Institute, 201 Lambton Quay, or P.O. Box 195, Wellington C. 1.

NOTE—The amendment changes the dimensions of the internal diameter at the top of 1½ and 2 cu. ft. capacity dustbins and provides for 15¼" ± ¼" instead of 15½" ± ¼" as specified in the current standard.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 17 August 1961.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D 6721.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the New Zealand Standards Institute, 201 Lambton Quay, or P.O. Box 195, Wellington C. 1.

NOTE—The amendment changes the title and amends a reference to a related standard specification in clause 5 (b).

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 31 August 1961.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Meat Export Prices Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Meat Export Prices Committee has prepared the table of minimum prices set out in the Schedule hereto for the classes of meat set out in the said Schedule in respect of meat exported from New Zealand for the year ending 30 September 1962.
