Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block XIII,
Wai-iti Survey District, and Block I, Gordon Survey Dis-
trict, Waimea County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further
given that the plan of the land required to be taken is
deposited in the post office at Wakefield and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the
said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to
the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send
such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres and 1 rood situated
in Block XIII, Wai-iti Survey District, and Block I, Gordon
Survey District, Nelson R.D., being part Section 95, Square 5,
and part Section 55, District of Upper Motueka; as the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W.
3248 (S.O. 10101) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Agreement for Grant of Easement in Favour of Jean Milne,
Wife of Jack Milne of Dunedin, Company Manager, Over
Land in Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District, Taken
for a Fish Hatchery Assented to

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 20th day of July 1948
and published in Gazette, 29 July 1948, Volume II, page 925,
an area of land containing 5 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P.
4882, being part Section 2, Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey
District, was taken for a fish hatchery:
And whereas Dora Kathleen Drummond, of Wanaka,
widow, being the registered proprietor of the said land at the
date the said Proclamation took effect, was entitled to com-
pensation for her interest in the said land:
And whereas the Minister of Works agreed to grant, and
Dora Kathleen Drummond agreed to accept, in part satis-
faction of the compensation aforesaid, the right, inter alia, to
discharge storm water, household drainage, and effluent
from a septic tank from Lot 1, D.P. 9166, across part Lot 2,
D.P. 4882, into the creek on Lot 6, D.P. 4882, along the
line marked I on D.P. 9632; such right to be vested in the
form of an easement appurtenant to the said Lot 1, D.P. 9166:
And whereas by transmission 40077 and transfer 211522,
Otago Land Registry, all the estate and interest of Dora
Kathleen Drummond in the said Lot 1, D.P. 9166, has been
transferred to Jean Milne, wife of Jack Milne, of Dunedin,
company manager:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice,
pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that
he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to, and to
the granting of the said easements in favour of the said
Jean Milne.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Rangitikei County
District Scheme (Notice of Extension of Period of Effective-
ness of Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the
period of effectiveness of each prohibition made by the
Rangitikei County Council, pursuant to a notice of require-
ment signed by the Minister of Works on 3 August 1959 and
forwarded to the said Council under cover of a letter of the
same date affecting land adjoining sections of the Awanui-
Wellington State Highway No. 1 and the Hamilton-Woodville
via New Plymouth State Highway No. 3 in the vicinity of
Bulls Township, is hereby extended to the 3rd day of August
1962.

Declaration That Part of the Kopuru Town Domain Shall be
a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation
Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Kopuru Town
Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be
subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and
Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation
reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes
the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Domain
