ON the unimproved value of all lands within the Kaitaia Town District, thirty-three one-hundredths of a penny (0·33d.) in the pound.

THIRD SCHEDULE
RURAL SUBDIVISION
General Rates
Class A—On the unimproved value of all lands classified as Class A by the persons appointed to classify lands under section 3 of the Swamp Drainage Amendment Act 1928, fifty pence and sixty-two one-hundredths of a penny (50·62d.) in the pound.

Class B—On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class B, seventeen pence and seventy-two one-hundredths of a penny (17·72d.) in the pound.

Class C—On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class C, seven pence and fifty-nine one-hundredths of a penny (7·59d.) in the pound.

Declaring Area to be an Access Lane for the Purposes of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1958, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that for a period of two years from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the conditions set out in the First Schedule hereto, the area of water described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be an access lane and that within such access lane regulations 9 and 10 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958 shall not apply.


FIRST SCHEDULE

THE access lane shall be marked as follows:

  1. Brightly painted marker buoys each 50 yards apart commencing 50 yards from normal lake level shall be suitably moored along the southern boundary of the access lane.

  2. At the edge of the lake at normal lake level on the boundary of the access lane in line with the marker buoys there shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted white with black letters.

  3. The aforesaid notice board shall contain the following notice:

"NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1958
Access lane extending in width 30 yards northwards and parallel to line of buoys and this notice.
Bathers are warned motor boats and water skiers may pass through the lane at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour."


SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in Lake Karapiro bounded on the sides by parallel lines 30 yards apart extending in an easterly direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the southern boundary being in line with the northern bank of the Taipa Stream.

Hop Marketing Committee Election (Notice No. Ag. 7323)

PURSUANT to clause 11 of the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of five producers' representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz, Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, and at Nelson; also at following post offices, viz, Motueka, Upper Moutere, Wakefield, and Nelson.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of seven days from 19 July 1961.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Nelson. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on 9 August 1961.
