Declaration That a Reserve be the Dickson Domain and Appointment of Domain Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Dickson Domain, and further, appoints the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Thames to be the Dickson Domain Board to have control of the said domain.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over the lands described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands, and further, declares that the said lands may be disposed of by the Kaitaia Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
