Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*
SCHEDULE
Situated within Waiapu County at Tikitiki:
Tikitiki-Rangitukia road (from the No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa) to a point 24 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway).
The No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa) (from a point 5 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Tikitiki-Rangitukia road to a point 26 chains measured southerly and westerly generally along the said State highway from the said road).

Excluding Roads from Speed Limitation and Declaring a Limited Speed Zone
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
- That so much of the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 20th day of December 1937*, as relates to Kihikihi Town District is hereby revoked.
- The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.
- The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.†
FIRST SCHEDULE
Situated within Kihikihi Town District:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from the southern boundary of Kihikihi Town District to a point 2 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Sheehan Street).
Whitmore Street (from the eastern boundary of Kihikihi Town District to a point 5 chains measured easterly generally along the said street from Rolleston Street).
SECOND SCHEDULE
Situated within Kihikihi Town District:
Whitmore Street (from a point 5 chains measured easterly generally along the said street from Rolleston Street to a point 8 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said Whitmore Street from Oliver Street).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject to a Fencing Agreement
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 6th day of June 1961, subject to a fencing agreement contained in memorandum of transfer No. 653083, Auckland Land Registry.
