OPORO FLAT DRAINAGE RATING DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the land in that part of the Southland Catchment District described in the Schedule hereto and more particularly delineated on Classification Plans S.C.B. Nos. A. 58/6 and A. 58/7 deposited at the offices of the Board, 143 Spey Street, Invercargill, and intended to be known as the Oporo Flat Drainage Rating District, has been classified under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a valid classification as from the 24th day of March 1961.

SCHEDULE

DEFINITION OF OPORO FLAT DRAINAGE RATING DISTRICT

ALL that area in the New River Hundred, Southland Land District, of approximately 6,722 acres, bounded by a line commencing at the south-east corner of Section 14, Block XVI, New River Hundred; thence north-westerly along the southern boundary of the said Section 14 and continuing along the southern boundary of Section 3 and part Section 8, Block V, New River Hundred; thence generally northerly along the western boundaries of part Sections 8, 4, 5, and 6 to the north-west corner of Section 6; thence westerly to the south-west corner of part Section 46, Block XI, New River Hundred; thence northerly to the north-west corner of part Section 45; thence easterly and south-easterly along the northern boundary of part Section 45 to its intersection with the Waianiwa-Spar Bush road; thence generally northerly along the eastern side of the said road and continuing northerly along the eastern side of the Spar Bush School Road to the north-west corner of Lot 14, D.P. 2556, of Block XIII, New River Hundred, and Block I, Oreti Hundred; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 14 and across the road to the west bank of the Oreti River; thence generally in a southerly direction along the said west bank of the Oreti River to its junction with the north-east corner of Section 14, Block XVI, New River Hundred; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 14 to the point of commencement.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH DISTRICT PLANNING SCHEME, No. VI, APPROVED

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that an amendment to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Dannevirke was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 29th

day of May 1961. There were no requirements as to public works by the Minister of Works or by local authorities, and no objections to the amending scheme.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 10th day of June 1961.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and the public library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF WAITEMATA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Waitemata County Council made on the 25th day of May 1961, section 1 of a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Section 1 of the scheme relates to the whole of the County area and in particular the following matters:

(a) The zoning or definition of areas to be used exclusively or principally for urban or rural purposes;
(b) The main communication routes;
(c) The provision and preservation of certain amenities, including the regulation and control of outdoor advertising;
(d) The control of subdivision, including restraint upon unnecessary encroachment of urban development upon land of high actual or potential value for the production of food;
(e) Land subdivision standards in relation to any permitted use;
(f) Minimum site areas and dimensions in relation to uses of land and buildings.

The scheme has been deposited in the county office in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act and is there, open for inspection, without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the county office is open to the public.

Objections to section 1 of the scheme shall be in writing in the form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4.30 p.m. on 8 September 1961.
