The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in Common Fund) Notice 1961

Pursuant to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, the Minister of Finance hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in Common Fund) Notice 1961.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1961.

2. The rate of interest that may be paid by the Public Trustee on moneys invested by the Public Trustee as agent of any principal in the Common Fund of the Public Trust Office, pursuant to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, shall be 4 per cent per annum.

3. Nothing in this notice shall be deemed to affect the rate of interest that may be paid on any moneys so invested before the date of the coming into force of this notice.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve and Definition of Purpose Thereof

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is a public reserve within the meaning of the said Act for the purpose of a cemetery for members of the Jewish faith.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for a public cemetery to a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the said Act, declares the said reserve to form part of the Rough and Brown Creek Scenic Reserve.

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Muriwai Beach Domain

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Muriwai Beach Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
