Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Whangarei County
(Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals
and Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the
period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by
the Whangarei County Council in the interests of the Whangarei
County District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for
this notice would expire between the date of public notification
hereof and the 1st day of May 1962 inclusive, is hereby
extended to the said 1st day of May 1962.

Declaration That Part of the Ngongotaha Domain Shall be a
Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Rotorua County
Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Ngongotaha
Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be
subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and
Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation
reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant
to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rotorua, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Declaration That Part of the Waikaka Domain Shall be a
Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over
the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Waikaka
Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be
subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and
Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation
reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further revokes
the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Amending Notice Relating to the Open Season for Game in
Certain Acclimatisation Districts

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the
notice published in Gazette, No. 22 of 29 March 1961, relating
to the open season for game in certain acclimatisation districts
is amended as follows:

1. In that portion of the First Schedule which relates to the
   Otago Acclimatisation District:
   (a) by altering the open season on cock and hen pheasants
   so that the season will extend from 3 June to 31
   July inclusive;
   (b) by adding the following closed game areas:
   (13) The pond on the property of Mr H. Horrell,
   Arthurton, being on Section 3 and part Section 4,
   Block XIII, Waipahi S.D., and that portion of the
   Waipahi River from the mouth of the gorge to the
   fence below the Anglers' Hut.
   (14) The pond on the property of Mr J. Irvine,
   being on part Lot 1, part Section 5, D.P. 2988, Ardmore Estate, Greenvale S.D.
   (15) The pond on the homestead block on the
   property of Mrs J. Mathias, Patearoa, Maniatoto
   County.
   (16) The pond on the property of Mr M. Mulvena,
   being part Section 46, Earnscleugh Settlement, being
   part Block X, Leaning Rock S.D.
