The Standards Act 1941—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification No. D. 6578, for Model Land-drainage Bylaw

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, 201 Lambton Quay, or P.O. Box 195, Wellington C. 1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 30 June 1961.

Revoking in Part a Notice Defining Lands in the North Auckland Land District (Mamaranui Farm Settlement) to Which Water is Supplied Pursuant to Section 50 of the Land Act 1948

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 50 of the Land Act 1948, it is hereby notified that the notice published in Gazette, No. 2, 17 January 1952, page 50, is hereby revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 269 (1) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Fibreboard, flock coated, for use as lining material for footwear.

The application will not be dealt with until 11 May 1961 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 11 May 1961.
