Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Timaru
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes subject as to Lot 14, D.P. 17756, to the building-line restriction imposed by special order No. 412377 and to the drainage easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 413010, Canterbury Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of April 1961.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 35 perches situated in the City of Timaru, Canterbury R.D., being Lot 14, D.P. 17756, and Lots 17 and 18, D.P. 15637, being part Rural Section 2282. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 686, folio 31, Canterbury Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of April 1961.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Merton to the Purposes of a Road
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waikouaiti County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Declaring Land at Hanmer to be Thermal-water Area
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 89 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1945, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a thermal-water area for the purposes of that section.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County, containing 937 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, known as Hanmer Town Area and Hanmer Township, and bounded by a line commencing at a point on the east bank of the Chatterton River in line with the northern boundary of Section 40, Hanmer Town Area, in Block I, Lyndon Survey District, and proceeding easterly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 24B, Hanmer Town Area, in Block II, Lyndon Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that section and its production to the south side of Jollies Pass Road; thence easterly along that roadside to a line parallel to and 50 links north-west of the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 3941; thence south-westerly generally along that line to the north side of a public road; thence westerly along that roadside to the south-east side of the Christchurch-Hanmer road; thence westerly generally along that roadside and the southern side of Woodbank Road and its production to the east bank of the Chatterton River; thence northerly generally along that bank to the point of commencement.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of April 1961.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 rood, being Section 25, Block XI, Kawhia North Survey District, as shown on the plan marked S.O. 40700 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of April 1961.
