THE following decisions in interpretation of the Customs Tariff are published for public information:

PART I—DECISIONS IN INTERPRETATION OF THE TARIFF

192 (1) The term "bulked" is interpreted as meaning yarns which have been crimped or treated so as to give the impression of a greater bulk when the yarn is in a relaxed state than when it is under tension. Examples : Crimp yarn, stretch yarn, Ban-lon, Taslan, Helance. 335–5/40/34
199 (1) (a) Tubing—Plastic, thin wall, not exceeding 16 mm internal diameter, and having a wall thickness of less than 2 mm. (This decision which is effective from 22 July 1960 will be reviewed on 31 December 1961. Tariff Notice 12 refers.) 335–20/221

448 (3) Building materials—Sealing strip composed of a pile fabric with a plastic and/or metal backing for sealing doors and windows of buildings Electrical appliances, etc.—Plugs and sockets, other than three-pin power plugs and sockets, on declaration by a manufacturer for use by him only in making radio and television sets Switches, snap-in, toggle, for use in making electric heaters (Effective from 22 July 1960.) Emulsifiers, etc.—Deriphat 170c ..
