Revoking a Notice Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 24th day of January 1961 and published in Gazette, 2 February 1961, No. 9, page 186, declaring the land in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

Declaration That Part of a Public Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the public domain described in the schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Declaration That a Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Dunedin City Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 12 noon on Monday, 17 April 1961, as the time, and the offices of the Wellington Fire and Accident Underwriters' Association, 97 The Terrace, Wellington, as the place for the holding of a meeting of representatives of the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand to elect one member on each of the Fire Boards of Carterton, Masterton, New Plymouth, and Pahiatua Urban Fire Districts; and on the Fire Board of the Hawera United Urban Fire District; and on the Fire Committees of the Eketahuna, Greytown, and Martinborough Urban Fire Districts.
