PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the
land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Clifford Albert
Hexter-Stabbins under and by virtue of memorandum of
lease No. 22908, Auckland Land Registry, for a term
commencing on 12 July 1954 and ending on 11 July 1975,
is hereby taken for a university; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of
April 1961.
