Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in Borough of Lyttelton
(Notice No. Ag. 7234)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said section, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Lyttelton Borough Council on the 6th day of March 1961.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and the amendments thereto, and each and every power and authority thereunto enabling it, the Lyttelton Borough Council, acting on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Lyttelton, by special order declares that all of the plants included in the First Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and its amendments shall be deemed to be noxious weeds within the Borough of Lyttelton.

Land in the Canterbury Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land
NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

ALL that area in the Geraldine County containing 455 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Rural Sections 7241, 15450, 24783, 32383, and part Rural Sections 2527, 32382, and 36246, situated in Blocks VII and XI, Opihi Survey District, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 116, folio 22; Volume 137, folio 120; Volume 169, folio 230; Volume 171, folio 42; Volume 341, folio 204; Volume 393, folio 180 (Canterbury Registry). Shown on plan No. 160/11 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
