75. Class K

Paragraph 1, subparagraph (b): Omit this subparagraph, and substitute the following:

(b) Timber of the following species, railed in the minimum quantities specified hereunder, for distances exceeding 100 miles, will be charged at Class K less 1s. per 100 super feet:

Paragraph 1: Omit all reference to “Coal briquettes or coal carbonettes”, and substitute:

Paragraph 3: In the second line, after “or similar mineral oils”, add the words “hot bitumen”.

90. Lime for Manuring Farm Lands

Omit paragraphs 1, 3, and 4, and substitute the following:

  1. Subject to the conditions set out herein, New Zealand lime for use in dressing land used bona fide as a farm, orchard, nursery, or market garden within the Dominion of New Zealand, consigned from limeworks direct to farmers, orchardists, nurserymen, or market gardeners in occupation of the land on which the lime is to be used, or educational institutions whose curricula require the carrying on of farming for the purpose of instructing their students, will be charged class F rate.

  2. Minimum Charges—Except where otherwise specified, any less quantity than the minimum prescribed will be charged at such minimum, or on actual weight at Class E plus 50 per cent, whichever is cheaper.
