HAWKE'S BAY CATCHMENT BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, to control the flow of water in a portion of the Waipawa River; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the Waipawa Borough Council situate in Kenilworth Street, Waipawa, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary at the Board's offices, Browning Street, Napier.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council situated at Tirau and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land who have any objections thereto must state their objections in writing and lodge the same at the office of the County Clerk within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

Fitzherbert West Water Race District

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Kairanga County Council held on Tuesday, 28 February 1961, the following resolution was passed:

"That the special order passed by the Kairanga County Council on 19 January 1932 appointing managing ratepayers of the Fitzherbert Water Race District and amended by resolution of the Council on 12 October 1937, 9 October 1944, 10 May 1949, 10 March 1953, and 11 May 1954 be further amended on account of a vacancy occurred on the Committee by the death of Augustine Joseph McEvedy, by the appointment thereon of John Walter Robert as his successor, the members of the said Commitee being now as hereunder:

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH DISTRICT SCHEME APPROVED

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the Mount Wellington Borough was approved by the Mount Wellington Borough Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 6th day of March 1961, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1961.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
