Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, 201 Lambton Quay, or P.O. Box 195, Wellington C.1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 31 May 1961.

Alteration of Boundaries, County of Taupo and County of Rotorua—Time and Place for Hearing Appeal
Pursuant to section 34 of the Local Government Commission Act 1953, it is hereby notified that the Local Government Appeal Authority has fixed 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 19 April 1961, as the time, and the Magistrate’s Court, Taupo, as the place for the hearing of the appeal by the Taupo County Commissioner against the final reorganisation scheme of the Local Government Commission, dated 19 December 1960, providing for the area described in the First Schedule to that scheme to be excluded from the County of Rotorua and included in the County of Taupo, and for the area described in the Second Schedule to that scheme to be excluded from the County of Taupo and included in the County of Rotorua.

Land in the Canterbury Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land
Notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

Canterbury Land District—Canterbury Conservancy
All that area in the Geraldine County containing 40 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 27134, situated in Block VII, Opihi Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 60, folio 240.
As shown on plan No. 160/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
