Cancellation of the Vesting in the Piako County Council and Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Piako and changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for a war memorial to a reserve for recreation purposes.

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Auckland Roof Tilers and Slaters Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1542, situated at Auckland, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of Customs

———

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 269 (1) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

“Formica” and “Delaron” industrial laminated paper, impregnated with synthetic resin, plain coloured and not being backed or faced in colours differing from the base material.

The applications will not be dealt with until 6 April 1961 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 6 April 1961.
