Tariff Notice—Decision on Application for Approval

NOTICE is hereby given that the application notified in Tariff Notice No. 12* for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of

Steam hose, 5/16 in. internal diameter and over,

under item 199 (1) (a) of the Customs Tariff has been declined.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of Customs

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 136 (4) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Plastic gloves suitable for use by concrete workers or workers in heavy industry.

The application will not be dealt with until 23 March 1961 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 23 March 1961.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the withdrawal from a determination, by the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 180 (6) (a) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Rayon stockinette for use in masking.

The application will not be dealt with until 23 March 1961 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 23 March 1961.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 338 (1) (b) (i) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

(1) D.E.A.C. rechargeable nickel cadmium cells, viz; D2, D3·5, D4·5, D6, D7·5, D11, D15, D19, D23, 151D, 450D, 451D, 900D, and BD2·5.

(2) D.E.A.C. button cells, viz; 50DK, 100DK, 150DK, and 450DK.

The application will not be dealt with until 23 March 1961 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 23 March 1961.
