Appointment, Extensions of Commissions, Transfer, Terminations of Commissions, Resignation, and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

Pursuant to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointment, extensions of commissions, transfer, terminations of commissions, resignation, and retirements of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH

Termination of Commission

The commission of Squadron Leader Ronald Arthur Cooper, M.B.E., p.s.a. (79487), is terminated, with effect from 16 December 1960.

MEDICAL BRANCH

Appointment

Brendan James Dolan, L., L.M.R.C.P.(IREL.), L.M.R.C.S.(IREL.), D.A.(ENG.) (80412), is granted a short-service commission in the Medical Branch, Regular Air Force, for a period of four and a half years to be followed by 12 years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed to the rank of Flying Officer (Acting Flight Lieutenant) with seniority from 16 January 1956, with effect from 16 January 1961.

CHAPLAINS BRANCH

Resignation

Flight Lieutenant the Rev. John Allan Pittman (79201) resigns his commission, with effect from 25 January 1961.

Extensions of Commissions

Termination of Commission

The commission of Flight Lieutenant Reginald Noel Wilson (73541) is terminated, with effect from 5 December 1960.

Retirements

The under-mentioned Flight Lieutenants are retired, with effect from the date shown:
John Benjamin Brazier (130827), 14 October 1959.
William Frank Bern (132351), 9 October 1960.

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints The member of the Bay of Islands County Council representing the Kerikeri Riding, ex officio; Kenneth Edward Alderton; Owen Humphrey Best; Norman Reid Maxwell; Graham Norman Alan Metcalfe; Philip Angelo Padbury; Peter Frederick Riddell; and David MacDonald Starr to be the Kerikeri Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.
