Plant Declared Noxious Weed in County of Hobson
(Notice No. Ag. 7206)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the
Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation
from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the
said section, hereby publishes the following special order
made by the Hobson County Council on the 18th day of
January 1961.

SPECIAL ORDER

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it
by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hobson
County Council doth hereby resolve and declare, by way of
special order, that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is a noxious weed within the County of Hobson.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)

the under-mentioned goods under item 421 (3) (b) (i) of
the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Phenol-formaldehyde resin adhesives.

The application will not be dealt with until 2 March 1961
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should
do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag,
Wellington, on or before 2 March 1961.
