Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication)


COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1948, published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Vol. II, page 975, and registered as No. 3923, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres and 37·9 perches situated in Block X, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 64, Hutt District. All certificate of title, Volume 502, folio 47, Wellington Land Registry (limited as to parcels).

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 12th day of June 1957, and published in Gazette, 20 June 1957, Volume II, page 1185, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin as No. 7191, defining the middle line of the Dunedin-Mosgiel Motorway in Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District, Blocks VI and VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and in Green Island West Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of February 1961.

Time for Taking Census


COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section 21 of the Statistics Act 1955 it is enacted that the census of the population of New Zealand shall be taken in the year 1956 and in every fifth year thereafter, and that the day on which the census shall be taken and the time with reference to which the particulars shall relate shall be appointed by the Governor-General by Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and appoint Wednesday, the 19th day of April 1961, as the day on which the census shall be taken and midnight between Tuesday, the 18th day of April 1961, and Wednesday, the 19th day of April 1961, as the time with reference to which the particulars shall relate.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of January 1961.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
