Pursuant to the Standards Act 1941, and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 14 December 1960, amended the under-mentioned standard specifications by the incorporation of the amendments shown hereunder:

Cancellation of Teacher’s Certificate and Registration as a Teacher

Pursuant to section 17 of the Education Amendment Act 1924, the teacher’s certificate and registration as a teacher of Allan Roy Clark are cancelled.

Claim for Registration of School Colours and Badge

Pursuant to the Education Act 1914 and regulations thereunder, notice is hereby given that a claim has been made for the registration of the following colours and badge for Otahuhu College, Auckland:

Colours—Blue, gold, white, and black.

Badge—A shield edged in gold on which a kotuku is emblazoned on a field of which the upper part is black and the lower part blue: below the shield a scroll outlined in gold with the motto “Kia Tamatane” in gold on a black background.

If, within 40 days of the publication of this notice, no objection to this claim is received by me the claim will be registered in accordance with the provisions of the above Act and regulations.

Land in the North Auckland Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land

Notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY PART Section 10, Block I, Hukerenui Survey District: Area, 398 acres and 14 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 1501, folio 60. As shown on plan No. 9/40 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 16843.)
